Pessoal,
Liberei para download a versão Beta 2 do TrekPalm 4.0. Essa versão resolve boa parte do problema de “out of memory” que estava acontecendo no Zire 21. Vou fazer novos testes amanhã, mas acredito que o estouro de memória não vai mais acontecer em condições normais de uso do programa. Aparentemente esse problema só acontece apenas em modelos com pouca memória (como o Zire 21).
A parte ruim da notícia é que eu precisei apagar algumas telas do TrekPalm que eram pouco usadas, como a tela de “Sobre”. Bom, esse é o preço que vou ter que pagar para conseguir liberar memória para o programa, mas acredito que ninguém vai sentir falta delas.

Ficou faltando falar que nesse modelo de Palm o problema de “out of memory” ainda assim pode ocorrer se a planilha for muito grande. Mas, acredito que na prática a chance é muito pequena. Caso ocorra, a solução é abrir o programa novamente e continuar o uso do ponto que deu o erro. Teoricamente nenhum efeito colateral mais sério será observado.

The bad news is that I had to delete some TrekPalm screens that were little used, as the screen \ “About \”. Well, that’s the price I’ll have to pay to get free memory for the program, but I believe that no one will miss them.

If it occurs, the solution is to open the program again and continue using the point that gave the error. Theoretically any serious side effect is observed.
